As with all hand-forged items, the finished product will have slight differences due to the process of working the metal, making each piece truly unique.

You can add matching handles or hooks or customize a whole house's cabinetry and shelving with various designs if you like!

Etsy is not expected to have professional experience as a blacksmith, nor are they required to be knowledgeable on the subject (and why should we expect that… they are only an E-commerce site). By purchasing Sol Forge’s product on Etsy, you are acknowledging that Sol Forge is the subject matter expert for its pieces and creations (and that you understand and have gone over all policies for Etsy and Sol forge).

As all items are handmade to order; Sol Forge always does its best to get everybody the pieces they need the first time. If an item arrives damaged, Sol Forge will gladly assist you. If that is the case, you must contact Sol Forge immediately upon delivery and are expected to keep all packaging and shipping materials, as photo evidence may be required for any claims process (you are also expected to comply and assist with any needed information for that process).

Sol Forge does not accept returns on custom/customized orders, items on sale, or personalized pieces.

Qualifying returns/exchanges are accepted only under the following circumstances:
• You must contact Sol Forge within 7 days of delivery for instructions.
• Orders that do not follow the given instructions will not be accepted.
• Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs as well as the original shipping cost that was paid. The original shipping cost will be deducted from the refund.
• All items must be returned in original, unused condition.
• All returns are subject to a 20% material fee in addition to the original shipping cost.

Any order that is received back as “return to sender”, or without an agreement, will be considered a forced return and will not be accepted or refunded.

Bracket sizing-
Brackets are created with the listed dimensions as usable space from inside the lip. Meaning you will select the bracket size based on the "true" measurement of the shelf piece you will be using. Please note, due to the completely handcrafted nature of the process, there will be a very slight (+) tolerance to ensure proper fit.

Handles and Pulls sizing-
All handles and pulls are sized with the listed dimensions as the measurement from hole to hole. Again, due to the entirely handcrafted nature of the process, there can be very slight (+/-) tolerances.

When a “blackened” or “black” finish is selected it will function as a semi-permanent rust inhibitor and will wear and patina depending on use and environment. All other finishes should be expected to exhibit the natural visual qualities of steel.

Unless otherwise stated in the description, all items are a single piece.
Any images on the listing are for display purposes only, Sol Forge has posted a sample of a general example and size that was created at a different time. Sol Forge creates all pieces to order and you will not receive those same pieces shown… Heck, it might not even be the size shown that you have ordered. Slight differences from piece to piece are to be expected as they are created by a blacksmith that handcrafts all pieces. These differences may include but are not limited to subtle visual differences of the stock material or finish, natural (+/-) tolerances due to the process of working the steel, perceived proportions on the sample image (notably when selecting the larger or smaller sizes on a listing). Anything not stated or described will be left to the artist’s/blacksmith’s/creator’s (or more simply… Sol Forge’s) discretion and interpretation, unless discussed prior to purchase.
