Materials: Japanese Cotton, Cotton Poplin, 1 mm round elastic cord
This face covering is made by hand from Japanese quilting cotton and is lined with tightly woven white cotton poplin. Both materials are of high quality and will hold up very well with frequent use and frequent washing.
The model has 4 pleats for a better fitting and elastic loops to tighten the mask on your face. The upper and lower edges are smooth, with no visible seams, to avoid nose or chin rubbing.
The 1 mm diameter elastic cord comes in rainbow colours, is round and provides comfort, especially for those of you who wear eyeglasses or sunglasses. The elastic can and should be adjusted by untying the knots and shortening the loop with a new knot, to fit tightly on your face. I have included button loops on both sides for those rare moments when you are out in the open, with no other people in sight and you wish to take the mask off and breath in fresh air.
This face covering should be worn high up on the nose bridge and extended fully under the chin. The elastic should be as tight as it is still comfortable, so that the sides are closing. While it does not include a wire, the mask works well with wearers of glasses, as the frame of the glasses will close the nose gap.
All my face coverings are made from new materials. Nevertheless, I strongly suggest that you wash your mask before trying it on, for hygenic reasons. I recommend a cotton cycle, at 40 degrees Celsius, gentle spinning and ironing when dry. Before placing your mask in the washing machine, make sure that the elastic knots are tight so that they don't open up accidentally. If this happens, use a tapestry needle to re-insert the elastic cord in the side channel.

Keine hellblauen Papiermasken mehr in meinem Gesicht!!! Eine wunderschöne Selektion von japanischen Baumwollen, sauber gefüttert, ohne sichtbare Naht, alles bestens verarbeitet und mit Liebe gemacht. Auch die Verpackung war sehr sorgfälltig. Ich glaube Citizen Alex muß man im Auge behalten. Danke

Die Maske ist viel schneller angekommen als erwartet, trotz nahendem Feiertag. Wunderschöner Stoff, mit Liebe zum Detail, fühlen sich leicht an, aber durch die doppelte Lage Stoff trotzdem dicht. Durch die bunten, verstellbaren Bänder nicht nur schön, sondern auch cool. Kann ich sehr empfehlen!
